About Me
Welcome!
I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at Purdue University. I am also affiliated with the School of Public Health at Rutgers as a research assistant. I love the people I collaborate with and all the amazing work they are doing!
My research interests are broad and varied. Currently, within sociology, my projects focus on older adult health outcomes, biomarkers, and early life influences on later life health. Within public health, my work focuses on end-of-life policies.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in biological sciences from Purdue University in 2023. I also completed a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in population aging at the Rutgers School of Public Health in 2025.
I firmly believe in open science and reproduciblity, please feel free to view any replication files at https://github.com/samuel-nemeth. Please reach out to me for questions about specific data.
